Stretch Mark Creams

Visit www.coolmom.com || Man, did that kid feel like he was about to launch out. I’ve been lucky I don’t have anything too funky on my belly (the arms, though forget it!). But this stretch mark cream bizness come on! My skin is as dry as crackers, and I didn’t get any stretch marks. It’s hormonal but if George Clooney wants to rub some stretch cream on me, I will become a convert.

I’d say that’s usually what a mother who’s been through the same deal would think…but the problem is that the world and it’s media is run by people who are young and unmarked…and old people who pay for these young unmarked people to be on tv…its so sad how the world sees beauty and treats everything else like an ultimate offence.

Blunderbus tells me I’m the moron and I should re-read what he wrote, but has now removed all his posts. How can I re-read it and suddenly agree with him now?

LamondraJanuary 30th, 2010 at 10:10 pm

Exactly!

Btw, when I see pregnancy stretchmarks on other women (at the beach or something) I hardly ever think it’s ugly, so why should it be ugly on me? :)

I love them too!

LamondraJanuary 30th, 2010 at 10:21 pm

@blunderbus21 She just said she didn’t stretch you moron. And I was 20 myself and I did get the marks.. it has nothing to do with age and everything with skintype.

jessijayne13January 30th, 2010 at 10:53 pm

bio oil worked for me

jbean0January 30th, 2010 at 10:58 pm

I completely agree, it’s total BS. Your likelyhood of getting stretch marks comes from family genes and they are rampant in my family. I believe I kept my stomach very moisturized during my first pregnancy and I still got shredded. Though I’m getting used to them, I have to. I just see it as a mark of pride, this is what it took to bring my beautiful child into this world.

dickeyt33January 31st, 2010 at 12:48 am

I used it daily and STILL got the stretch marks..it doesnt work!

XinoutorahJanuary 31st, 2010 at 1:44 am

how can you say it doesn’t work if you’ve never used it to prevent your stretch marks (which you didn’t get)? lmao…a lot of pregnant women have said cocoa butter works, but I think it’s all in the family…my mother never got them so I’m good.

I’d love to rub that belly

sarahcb87January 31st, 2010 at 4:20 am

Completely true. Your skin is only gonna stretch so far before it tears. I used creams my whole pregnancy and did not get any stretch marks, so I thought it was working, until 5 weeks before my due date. My baby was just too big for my body.

jmielynJanuary 31st, 2010 at 5:16 am

I agree!

soccersprincessJanuary 31st, 2010 at 6:09 am

lmao.

SassySweet24January 31st, 2010 at 6:19 am

I only got them with my first pregnancy. My son gave them all to me and I never got another one from my other two pregnancies.

RectomitosisJanuary 31st, 2010 at 7:16 am

If you’re all that vain MAYBE you shouldn’t be getting pregnant- then none of you would worry about pregnancy stretch marks. What are you gonna do when you get all those nasty veins & saggy boobs as well? Cope with the stuff that comes with aging and you & your kids will be better off- or be selfish & narcissistic and keep crying about it. Life’s too short to hate the skin you’re in and plastic surgery isn’t a cure- self confidence is.
